About Us

Human aid and relief organization (HARO) has established to promote and safeguard the preservation of human life and dignity. It is a non-political, non-sectarian international relief and development agency that works with the world’s poorest and most vulnerable people accepting donation from the donors of home and abroad.

HARO was established in 2001 by individual efforts. It has been officially launched in 2003, Reg. No: 1803, under the Ordinance no: 46, 1978 from NGO affairs bureau, Prime Ministers Office by honorable Mohammad Imran, Chairman of HARO.

HARO is such an organization that works for the poor, needy, refugee, unprivileged people and for the affected people by natural calamities.

HARO provides houses, mosques, place of ablution, madrasah, food, umbrellas, school bags, and others, water wells and cash money to the poor and helpless. (HARO) also helps the autistics providing wheelchair and provides rickshaws, sewing machines to eradicate poverty.

HARO’s objectives are to:

  • Relieve suffering caused by natural disasters or human conflict
  • Promote peace and understanding based on mutual tolerance and respect
  • Strengthen people’s capacity to help themselves

We seek a society of hope, healthy, socio-economic equity and social justice, where poverty has been overcome and people live in dignity.

Our mission is to serve the poor and hardcore poor people within rural and urban communities in Bangladesh.
